Electropolished Stainless Steel Pipes are conventionally made using grades such as 304, 304L, 316, and 316L containing iron, chromium (18–20%), nickel (8–12%), and molybdenum for 316/316L grades to provide superior corrosion resistance. Electropolishing eliminates surface dirt and microscopic peak, lowering the surface roughness to less than 20 Ra (roughness average), ensuring better cleanability and reducing risk of contamination. These pipes have mechanical properties like tensile strength of 500–620 MPa, yield strength of 200–300 MPa, and elongation of approximately 40%. They are corrosion resistant, long-lasting, and are suitable for uses demanding ultra-clean, smooth interior surfaces.
