Stainless Steel 304H Pipes are a high-carbon variant of the popular 304 grade with 18–20% chromium, 8–11% nickel, and higher carbon (0.04–0.10%) content for improved high-temperature strength. The excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance, particularly under high temperatures, are imparted by this composition. Mechanical properties are minimum tensile strength of 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of approximately 40%. These pipes have good weldability and formability and retain superior creep resistance, so they are applicable to pressure and structural use in high-heat industrial settings.
