Titanium ERW Pipe is normally manufactured from commercially pure titanium or titanium alloys such as Grade 2 and Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V), consisting of about 90% titanium with the addition of aluminum and vanadium in alloy grades. These pipes have high tensile strength between 344 MPa and 950 MPa, and yield strength up to 880 MPa, based on the grade. Titanium ERW Pipes have high corrosion resistance, particularly in seawater and chemical environments, and a high strength-to-weight ratio. Their electric resistance welded composition provides uniformity and consistent mechanical behavior, rendering them appropriate for corrosive and high-stress applications.
