Super Duplex Steel Pipes consist of an equilibrated combination of ferrite and austenite phases, usually consisting of grades such as UNS S32750 and S32760. They consist of approximately 24–26% chromium, 6–8% nickel, 3–5% molybdenum, and trace quantities of nitrogen and manganese, giving them superior corrosion resistance, particularly in chloride-bearing environments. These pipes possess high tensile strength (up to 800 MPa), yield strength (minimum 550 MPa), and good impact toughness. Super Duplex pipes also show enhanced resistance to crevice corrosion, pitting, and stress corrosion cracking, so they are perfectly suited for high-pressure and aggressive environments.
