Duplex Steel Seamless Tubing contains the following mainly chromium (21–23%), nickel (4.5–6.5%), molybdenum (2.5–3.5%), manganese, silicon, and controlled levels of nitrogen and carbon. It possesses superior mechanical properties with tensile strength of 620–880 MPa, minimum yield strength of 450 MPa, and elongation of 25%. Physically, Duplex steel has a density of about 7.8 g/cm³, a melting point of 1350–1450°C, and provides better resistance to stress corrosion cracking. All these properties make it suitable for high-pressure, high-temperature, and highly corrosive environments in many industries.
