Nickel Alloy Tubing is usually made of 60% or more nickel, with other elements like chromium, molybdenum, iron, copper, and cobalt depending on grade (Inconel, Monel, Hastelloy). The elements provide resistance against oxidation, stress corrosion cracking, and acid attack. The tubing offers high tensile strength (550–1000+ MPa), superior creep resistance, and good performance under thermal cycling. Nickel alloys exhibit structural strength at temperatures between cryogenic and greater than 1000°C. Their ductility and formability also recommend them for complicated fabrication with guaranteed long-term life in corrosive and high-stress applications.
