This mix has very good resistance to oxidation, corrosion, and stress cracking. These tubes have high tensile strength, usually between 550 and 1000+ MPa, and retain integrity in a broad temperature interval—from cryogenic temperatures to as high as 1000°C. Their seamless nature provides better strength, homogeneity, and leak-tightness, and these tubes are therefore used for high-stress and high-pressure applications.
