Stainless Steel EFW Pipes are generally made from austenitic stainless steel alloys such as 304, 304L, 316, and 316L that contain 18–20% chromium, 8–12% nickel, and minute carbon content. Certain grades may also contain molybdenum to provide improved corrosion resistance. The pipes possess superior tensile strength (approximately 500–750 MPa), yield strength (200–300 MPa), and elongation up to 35–40%. The EFW process produces high-quality welds without the need for filler material, providing good mechanical performance, consistency, and corrosion resistance, and they are ideal for low and high-pressure applications in challenging environments.
