Stainless Steel 316Ti Pipes are a titanium-stabilized form of 316 stainless steel, with chromium (16–18%), nickel (10–14%), molybdenum (2–3%), and titanium (at least 5 times the carbon content) added to avoid carbide precipitation when welding. The composition offers excellent resistance to corrosion, especially in chloride-rich and high-temperature conditions. Mechanically, SS 316Ti has a tensile strength of about 515 MPa and a yield strength of about 205 MPa, with high ductility and creep resistance. The addition of titanium stabilizes the structure of the alloy against prolonged heat, making it ideal for continuous or cyclic thermal stress applications.
