Stainless Steel 439 Pipes are ferritic stainless steel pipes that have about 17–19% chromium content, very low carbon content, and added titanium to stabilize the structure and enhance weldability. This composition gives improved resistance to corrosion, particularly in oxidizing conditions. The pipes possess good mechanical strength with tensile strength of about 415–620 MPa, yield strength of about 205–275 MPa, and elongation of up to 25%. SS 439 has structural integrity at high temperatures and has excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and is perfectly suited for structural and high-temperature service applications.
