Stainless Steel 301L Pipes are mainly made of 16–18% chromium, 6–8% nickel and low carbon content (≤0.03%) for improved weldability. They have good mechanical properties, tensile strength around 586 MPa, and yield strength 276 MPa, along with good elongation. The low carbon content decreases the possibility of carbide precipitation during welding. The benefits of 301L pipes are high resistance to corrosion, especially in corrosive environments, high formability, and favorable fatigue resistance. They are suited for aerospace, automotive, chemical processing, and architectural applications.
