Stainless Steel 330 Pipes are a nickel-chromium austenitic alloy consisting of about 34–37% nickel and 17–20% chromium with traces of silicon, manganese, carbon, and iron. This combination is known to possess superior oxidation resistance and stability when exposed to temperatures above 1100°C. The alloy possesses tensile strength of about 600 MPa and yield strength of 280 MPa with superior creep resistance and average elongation. SS 330 also retains structural integrity in cyclic heating and cooling. Such mechanical and chemical properties render the material well-suited to high-temperature industrial applications, particularly where thermal fatigue and carburization are major issues.
