Marine Grade Stainless Steel Pipes are usually fabricated using alloys like Stainless Steel 316 or 316L, containing approximately 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum. This content improves their pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride attack resistance in marine conditions. These pipes have very good mechanical properties, with tensile strength of about 515 MPa, yield strength of around 205 MPa, and satisfactory elongation. They are non-magnetic and can be welded, with high toughness even under sub-zero conditions, making them suitable for challenging sea and industrial environments.
