Stainless Steel 304 Pipe is an austenitic stainless steel made up of chromium (18–20%), nickel (8–10.5%), and an equal proportion of iron with very small amounts of carbon (≤0.08%). This composition provides it with superior corrosion resistance and satisfactory oxidation resistance in a broad variety of environments. It has the mechanical properties of a tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa and a yield strength of 205 MPa, with superior elongation and impact strength.
