Stainless Steel 309H Pipes are a high-carbon variant of SS 309 with about 22–24% chromium, 12–15% nickel, and increased carbon content between 0.04–0.10%. The increased carbon improves high-temperature strength and creep resistance. The pipes possess superior mechanical properties such as a minimum tensile strength of 550 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and about 40% elongation.
