Stainless Steel Welded Tubing is manufactured from stainless steel grades such as 304, 304L, 316, and 316L, which contain mainly iron, chromium (more than 10.5%), nickel, and occasionally molybdenum for improved corrosion resistance. The tubes are created by welding and rolling stainless steel strip, and then annealing to enhance toughness. They exhibit good tensile strength (usually up to 600–700 MPa), high corrosion resistance, and stable dimensional precision. While a bit weaker than seamless tubing, welded tubing has a far better cost-effectiveness with good formability and aesthetic appearance for numerous functional and ornamental applications.
