Stainless Steel 310S Pipes are a low-carbon variant of SS 310, with enhanced weldability and less susceptibility to sensitization. Their composition consists of 24–26% chromium, 19–22% nickel, with carbon restricted to not more than 0.08%. These constituents provide corrosion resistance, particularly in oxidizing and elevated temperature environments. The pipes have very good mechanical properties, such as tensile strength of approximately 520 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of approximately 40%. The lower carbon level of 310S makes it ideal for welding applications while maintaining strength and resistance in high temperature conditions.
