Titanium Gr 6 Pipe consists of about 90% titanium, 6% aluminum, and 4% vanadium and is a blend of strength and corrosion resistance. The alpha-beta alloy has a robust combination of mechanical properties and weldability. The most common tensile strength is about 895 MPa (130,000 psi), yield about 828 MPa (120,000 psi), and has good ductility. Titanium Gr 6 has very good toughness, low weight (4.43 g/cm³), and good high-temperature performance.
