Stainless Steel 310S Tubing is a low-carbon variant of SS 310, made up of 24–26% chromium, 19–22% nickel, and up to 0.08% carbon. Its composition makes it more resistant to oxidation, carburization, and high-temperature corrosion, while reducing carbide precipitation during welding. The tubing has good mechanical properties such as tensile strength of around 520 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of about 40%. The low carbon increases its weldability, which is well suited for applications that demand tough, resilient, and heat-resistant tubing in mission-critical industrial situations.
