321/321H Seamless Tubing Stainless Steel is titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel with high resistance to intergranular corrosion. SS 321 has chromium (17–19%), nickel (9–12%), and titanium (minima five times that of carbon) to enhance stability when welding and being at high temperature. SS 321H, the high carbon version, provides better creep strength and increased strength at high temperatures. Both grades have a minimum tensile strength of 515 MPa and yield strength of 205 MPa. Both their mechanical and chemical properties qualify them to fit applications with long-term exposure to high temperatures and corrosive conditions.
