Stainless Steel 316Ti Seamless Tubing is a titanium-stabilized form of 316 stainless steel that provides better resistance to intergranular corrosion when exposed to high temperatures. It contains chromium (16–18%), nickel (10–14%), molybdenum (2–3%), and titanium (at least five times the amount of carbon), which provides better stability when welded and exposed to heat. The pipe has a minimum tensile strength of 515 MPa and a minimum yield strength of 205 MPa, with good elongation and toughness. 316Ti has the mechanical and chemical properties required for it to be suitable for use at high temperatures, for corrosion, and as welded pipes in demanding industrial conditions.
