Stainless Steel 304 Seamless Tubing is an austenitic stainless steel alloy with about 18% chromium and 8% nickel content, which provides it with superior corrosion resistance and good formability. It provides good mechanical properties, with tensile strength of about 515 MPa, yield strength of about 205 MPa, and elongation of 40% in 50 mm. This type of tubing is non-magnetic in the annealed state and has good weldability and is hence used in different applications where strength combined with oxidation and corrosion resistance is needed.
