Stainless Steel 321 and 321H ERW Pipes are titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steels with high resistance against intergranular corrosion. The material consists of chromium (17–19%), nickel (9–12%), and minimum five times the content of carbon in titanium. SS321H contains higher carbon (0.04–0.10%) for increased high-temperature strength and creep. The pipes have a minimum tensile strength of 515 MPa and yield strength of 205 MPa. Their mechanical stability coupled with good weldability and formability makes them suitable for applications exposed to constant heat and corrosive conditions.
