Stainless Steel 310 and 310S ERW Pipes consist chiefly of iron, chromium (24–26%), and nickel (19–22%), providing greater resistance to oxidation at elevated temperatures. The 310S type has a lower carbon content, which improves weldability and minimizes carbide precipitation during welding. These pipes have superior mechanical properties, with tensile strength of around 520 MPa and yield strength of about 205 MPa. They also have excellent toughness and creep resistance even at high temperatures, and hence are well-suited for high-stress conditions in both structural and heat-intensive applications.
