ERW Pipes Stainless Steel 317 and 317L are molybdenum-containing austenitic stainless steels consisting of about 18–20% chromium, 11–15% nickel, and 3–4% molybdenum, providing improved corrosion and pitting resistance. The 317L grade contains lower carbon content (up to 0.03%) to enhance weldability and minimize the risk of intergranular corrosion. These pipes exhibit good mechanical properties such as tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa and yield strength of about 205 MPa. Their high strength, ductility, and corrosion resistance make them ideal for special welded piping applications in corrosive environments.
