Stainless Steel 316Ti Welded Pipes contain chromium (16–18%), nickel (10–14%), molybdenum (2–3%), and titanium, the latter being added in a minimum of five times the carbon content. This addition of titanium stabilization guards against sensitization and intergranular corrosion, particularly when welding and when there is long exposure to higher temperatures. SS 316Ti welded pipes contain a tensile strength of about 515 MPa and yield strength of about 205 MPa. They also possess good elongation, superior formability, and better creep and stress rupture resistance, which makes them suitable for welded construction and exposure to heat.
