Stainless Steel 316H Welded Pipes consist of chromium (16–18%), nickel (10–14%), molybdenum (2–3%), and increased carbon content (0.04–0.10%) for greater high-temperature strength. The alloy has great corrosion resistance, especially in acidic and chloride-bearing environments. Welded pipes maintain mechanical properties like tensile strength of 515–620 MPa and yield strength of approximately 205–310 MPa. They are also highly elongated and have excellent creep resistance. The increased carbon content enhances their thermal stress structural integrity and, therefore, SS 316H welded pipes make a consistent selection for those uses involving continuous exposure to high temperature and mechanical behavior.
