Stainless Steel 316Ti Instrumentation Tubing is a titanium-stabilized type of stainless steel 316 containing about 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and trace of titanium (0.5%) to add high-temperature stability. The alloy has good corrosion resistance, especially against chlorides and other acidic media. It also has high tensile strength around 515 MPa and yield strength of about 205 MPa with moderate ductility and toughness. The incorporation of titanium avoids welding sensitization and ensures superior structure and mechanical strength even at higher temperatures and abrasive service conditions.
