Stainless Steel 316H Seamless Pipes are manufactured from a high-carbon form of 316 stainless steel with chromium (16–18%), nickel (10–14%), and molybdenum (2–3%) for increased strength and resistance to corrosion. The extra carbon content enhances high-temperature performance. The pipes have good mechanical properties, with a minimum tensile strength of 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 40%. Their high creep strength and thermal endurance make them best suited for pressure vessels and heat exchangers, complying with ASTM A312 specifications for seamless stainless steel pipes.
