Alloy Steel T9 Tubing consists mainly of chromium (8-10%) and molybdenum (0.90-1.10%), with controlled levels of carbon, manganese, silicon, phosphorus, and sulfur. This makes it harder, more resistant to oxidation, and stronger at high temperatures. The mechanical properties are a minimum tensile strength of 415 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and a minimum elongation of 30%, providing superior durability against thermal stress.
