Its mechanical properties are tensile strength of 415-585 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 25% in 50 mm. Alloy Steel T12 has high creep strength and good toughness and thus is best suited for application in the power generation industry, heat exchangers, and other high-temperature equipment.
