Stainless Steel 310 and 310S Instrumentation Tubing are austenitic stainless steels with high chromium (24–26%) and nickel (19–22%) content, which provides outstanding resistance to oxidation, scaling, and high-temperature corrosion. The 310S grade has lower carbon levels, which improve weldability and minimize carbide precipitation on welding. These tubes offer good mechanical properties, such as a tensile strength of approximately 75 ksi and a yield strength of approximately 30 ksi, with satisfactory ductility and formability. Their high-strength composition and structural stability enable them to withstand continuous service in high-temperature conditions and corrosive environments.
