Hastelloy C276 tubing consists mainly of nickel (57%), molybdenum (15-17%), chromium (14.5-16.5%), iron (4-7%), and tungsten (3-4.5%) with minor contents of cobalt and other elements. This special composition achieves superior resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking in corrosive environments. It has excellent mechanical properties with high tensile strength of 758 MPa, yield strength of 290 MPa, and elongation of 40%. Hardness of around 90 HRB, Hastelloy C276 tubing is very well known to perform well at high pressure and temperature conditions.
