Aluminium EFW Pipes are normally produced from high-grade aluminum alloys like 6061, 6082, or 5754, which have a composition comprising aluminum (more than 95%), magnesium (0.6–1.2%), silicon (0.4–1.2%), and trace amounts of iron, manganese, and chromium. These alloys have superior corrosion resistance and moderate-to-high mechanical strength. Depending on the alloy and temper, tensile strength varies between 150 and 310 MPa and yield strength between 110 and 260 MPa. Electric fusion welding process provides a strong, even weld seam with excellent structural integrity, and thus these pipes can be used in pressure-bearing and precision applications.
