Its mechanical characteristics are a tensile strength of approximately 90–150 MPa and great elongation, whereas the yield strength is mostly low because of its soft nature. Even with low mechanical strength, Aluminium 1070 has superior thermal and electrical conductivity, corrosion resistance, and formability.
