Alloy Steel P91 Pipes consist primarily of chromium (8-9.5%) and molybdenum (0.85-1.05%), supplemented with vanadium, niobium, nitrogen, and carbon for improved performance. The combination gives superior high-temperature strength, corrosion resistance, and creep resistance. From a mechanical viewpoint, P91 pipes have a minimum tensile strength of 585 MPa and yield strength of 415 MPa, elongation of 20%, and maximum hardness of 250 HB. These characteristics make P91 particularly suitable for stringent applications in superheaters, boilers, and heat exchangers under high-pressure and high-temperature conditions, providing long-term reliability and durability.
