Aluminium 7075 Tubing is an alloy consisting mainly of aluminium, zinc (5.1–6.1%), magnesium (2.1–2.9%), and copper (1.2–2.0%), with small amounts of chromium, silicon, and manganese. Having a high strength-to-weight ratio, it has superior mechanical properties, such as tensile strength of up to 570 MPa and yield strength of 505 MPa.
