CS A672 GR CC 60 Pipes are produced by electric-fusion-welded plates of carbon steel, commonly having a content of up to 0.30% Carbon, 1.00% Manganese, 0.035% Phosphorus, and 0.035% Sulfur. The pipes have good mechanical properties, which comprise a minimum yield strength of 240 MPa and tensile strength of 415 MPa. Physical properties comprise superior weldability, toughness, and corrosion resistance. Intended for high-temperature and high-pressure purposes, these pipes contain a melting point of 1425–1540°C to enable them to be used under challenging industrial conditions such as in power plants and chemical processing plants.
