These pipes have excellent mechanical properties with tensile strength of around 620 MPa and yield strength of 450 MPa and good elongation and impact toughness. Physically, Duplex 2205 has a density of 7.8 g/cm³, melting point of around 1350°C, and low thermal expansion with high thermal conductivity, which makes it suitable for applications involving high-performance and high-pressure.
