Copper Nickel 90/10 Tubing consists of 90% copper and 10% nickel and demonstrates high corrosion resistance, especially in seawater and brine environments. The mechanical properties involve high strength with a tensile strength level of around 50-70 ksi and good ductility. The tube contains a hardness of about 70-95 HRB. The tube shows good performance in a broad variety of temperatures, ranging from cryogenic to high temperature, without loss of strength. The alloy is also resistant to stress corrosion cracking and is thus well suited for use in marine and industrial applications.
