Inconel 617 Tubing is nickel-chromium-cobalt-molybdenum high-temperature alloy with approximately 51% nickel, 22% chromium, 12.5% cobalt, and 9% molybdenum as the major constituents. The mix provides outstanding resistance to carburization, oxidation, and other types of high-temperature corrosion. Mechanically, it has high tensile strength (average 760 MPa), good creep resistance, and admirable thermal stability. Inconel 617 retains its mechanical properties in temperatures above 1000°C and thus is perfect for aggressive service conditions. Its highly resilient composition and mechanical properties qualify it for both structural and pressure-bearing applications in very demanding industrial conditions.
